CasiGo Review
Launched recently, CasiGo comes bearing 1000+ casino games, a lucrative welcome bonus, regular daily offers, 24/7 customer support and many more perks.
The good news is, that Kiwi players are welcome to join this fun casino from the comforts of their own home.
If you want to learn more, we invite you to keep on reading our CasiGo Casino review!
CasiGo Licensing, Safety and Trustworthiness
CasiGo, like many reputable online casinos, is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). The latter handles players from the United Kingdom and the former covers international players (such as Kiwi customers.
Why is CasiGo safe:
CasiGo uses TTLS (Tunneled Transport Layer Security) v1.2 at a minimum to protect player data, including financial details. TTLS is the latest type of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. You’ll find both of these are the industry standard when it comes to encrypting online information.
The same goes for the security of personal information. TTLS ensures any personal data you provide to CasiGO is safely and securely encrypted.
I noticed all the software providers are well-known and trustworthy because they use independent testing companies, like eCOGRA, to ensure game fairness. They achieve this with random number generators, to ensure no game plays the same way twice, and clearly label a title’s RTP (return to player) percentage and volatility.
I found everything I needed in CasiGO’s privacy policy, general terms and conditions, and promotional terms and conditions, which are all available to view at the bottom of each page.
CasiGO gives priority to information transparency
This casino makes it easy to access important information by providing links and even summarising welcome bonus terms on the front page of the site.
I like that, at the top of its privacy statement, CasiGO acknowledges not everyone has the time to read terms and conditions. It succinctly lays out its core privacy terms right at the top, so even a casual player can get the gist of how their data is used and stored.
I’ve found that plenty of decent online casinos make their terms and conditions easy to access, but few go the extra mile that CasiGO does. Summarising this vital information where it’s easy to find is impressive.
How I tested CasiGo
I review all online casinos the same way, which is by checking the following factors. I put CasiGO through its paces so you can get a better idea of if you want to spend your time on it.
1. Bonus and offers analysis
CasiGO has a very attractive welcome bonus that works as a tiered deposit match up to NZ$1,100. It’s very good as an incentive because it also includes free spins and a generous time limit.
2. How easy it is to open a new account
CasiGO’s registration process is three steps. You’ll have to enter all the usual details, from your name, address, and date of birth, as well as select your country and currency.
3. Things you need to know about their deposit methods
CasiGO has a limited selection of deposit options for New Zealanders (Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, and Paysafecard), but the minimum limit for each is only €20 and CasiGO charges no fees.
4. Game selection
CasiGO has over 1,300 games available from a variety of reputable providers. Search categories include popular, new, daily jackpots, slots, live casino, by the provider, and many more.
5. The play experience
As subjective as this is, I’d bet you’ll find the CasiGo play experience as good as I did. Everything loads quickly and games run smoothly.
6. How withdrawing works
Withdrawals can be made via your account page. There, it clearly states payout conditions, including the typical processing time of at least two working days.
7. What do you do if you run into issues
I used live chat, which is fast and available 24/7, to find out more information about withdrawals (I’ll go into this in greater detail later). The other support options include an email address and a limited FAQ section. I also found out that you’ll get personalised assistance if you’re part of the VIP program.
Welcome Offers and Promos – Grab a Bonus at CasiGo
CasiGo has a generous welcome bonus that give you up to NZ$1,100 (you also get up to 375 free spins). Daily deals change all the time but tend to be either free spins or deposit match bonuses.
You’ll also find a loyalty points scheme, software provider-specific offers (e.g. Red Tiger daily jackpots) and an exciting chance to win a luxury cruise.
CasiGo is very upfront about its welcome bonus terms, as you’ll find them in full on most pages of the site. Every tier has a minimum deposit of NZ$10, and there’s an industry-standard wagering requirement of 35x the total of bonus money, deposits and spins. Terms for all promotions can be found on the designated page.
The welcome bonus is activated automatically with your first deposit of at least NZ$10 – as long as you don’t use Skrill or Neteller. I’ve noticed these two payment options are usually those not covered by casino welcome offers.
Other promotions can be claimed by making different deposit amounts or playing specific games. When I checked, no bonuses had to be claimed by entering a code. Again, all relevant info is under each offer on the promotions page (you can also check the calendar section for daily deals).
Promotions and Tournaments
The daily deals are the best example I found of recurring offers. At the time of writing, CasiGo was running a 50/50 offer – deposit at least NZ$20 to get a 50% match up to $50, or deposit a minimum of NZ$30 and you can choose to receive 50 free spins on the Legacy of Dead slot.
The Grand Prix Riviera luxury cruise promotion is a little more involved. Every week CasiGo has a random prize draw that only requires you to check your email, telling you about the latest secret game. For every NZ$50 you deposit and wager (real cash, not bonus funds) you’ll get one ticket. Bet on the secret game and you’ll get triple tickets.
This tournament also ties into the Mega Moolah jackpot slot; hit the jackpot during the promotional period and you’ll win a bunch of stuff. The available prizes change every week and are listed on a leaderboard on the promotion’s page.
VIP program
The CasiGO VIP Honors Club features four levels: silver, gold, platinum, and elite black. Each comes with progressively flashier perks, from a cash bonus when you reach a level through to private event invitations.
I wasn’t lucky enough to receive an invite to join the VIP club, but that may be because I didn’t wager enough. Although membership is open to every player, it’s at CasiGo’s discretion as to who it actually asks to join.
Quality over quantity
CasiGo doesn’t have the widest selection of promotions, but what’s there is worthwhile. I like that there’s also a loyalty scheme that awards points by merely placing bets. This isn’t a new idea, but it’s always nice to see it implemented. It has five levels: green, blue, orange, red, and purple, each with its own perks (e.g. a monthly cash bonus and increased cashback percentage).
CasiGo follows through with its information transparency by putting relevant terms with every promo. The terms all seem fair, too.
Register a new account with CasiGo
Registering with CasiGo is super easy and quick. Click on the register button in the top right corner, and you’ll need to complete three steps:
- Enter your name, address, country, date of birth and gender
- Input your email and phone number
- Choose a username, password and currency
That’s it! I didn’t even need to verify my email address, which is a common step that most websites, let alone online casinos, ask you to take.
CasiGo’s sign up process is straightforward and fast
I like how quick it is, and that it only lists non-restricted countries. I also like that I could select NZD as my currency.
Even though CasiGO didn’t send a verification email, which made everything a little bit faster, I think I’d prefer to have received one. As I didn’t, it left me wondering if CasiGo had really made a note of my details and if I’d receive relevant/essential emails in the future.
CasiGO Payment methods
Payment Method | Type | Average Deposit Time | Average Withdrawal Time |
Visa | Credit / Debit Card | Instant | 2 Days |
Mastercard | Credit / Debit Card | Instant | 2 Days |
Sofort | Online Transfer | Instant | 2 Days |
Skrill | e-Wallet | Instant | 2 Days |
Neteller | e-Wallet | Instant | 2 Days |
PaySafeCard | Prepaid Card | Instant | 2 Days |
ApplePay | e-Wallet | Instant | 2 Days |
Interac | Online Transfer | Instant | 2 Days |
PayPal | e-Wallet | Instant | 2 Days |
Bank Transfer | Bank Transfer | Instant | 2 Days |
CasiGO’s payment methods should be enough for most players
Note that the methods available do vary by country. Logging in with a New Zealand address, I could only use Visa, Mastercard, Paysafecard, or Skrill. Plus, I had to use the same method for deposits and withdrawals (a common practice, to be fair).
Every payment method also comes with a typical 48 hour withdrawal processing time, although e-Wallets may be ready within 24 hours. The only thing that can slow payouts down is if CasiGo requests account verification. This KYC (know your customer) routine is common on many online gambling sites.
The lack of options for me as a Kiwi player knocks a point off, but I still think it’s worth the rating thanks to the lack of minimum and maximum withdrawal limits. New players do have a $5,000 weekly max limit to start with, but this soon relaxes.

Popular titles include Book of Dead, Starburst, Hotline, and Gonzo’s Quest.

Roulette, Baccarat, blackjack, and Poker, in various styles (e.g. European Roulette, Texas Hold’Em).
Live casino
Live Roulette, Live Blackjack, Live Baccarat, and Live Poker, alongside wheel of fortune-style shows and Sic Bo.

Monopoly, Deal or No Deal, Dream Catcher, Crazy Time, Mega Ball, and Football Studio are the main shows available.
Game Providers
Slots Providers
You’ll find titles from top providers like Barcrest, NetEnt, Hacksaw Gaming, and Play’n Go. (The complete list can be found in the table at the beginning of this review.)
Live Casino Providers
Evolution Gaming is the only provider that supplies the live dealer tables.
Instant win Providers
The scratchcard section features games from PJ, Inspired, and Merkur Gaming.
CasiGo cater to players of all types
Whether you’re like me and prefer slots and table games, or like to have a wager on live games and jackpots, you’ll find something to enjoy at CasiGo. The range of software providers isn’t huge, but it’s varied.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a scratchcard section. I’ve found these aren’t as common as most other games, but they’re a nice change of pace from other titles.
CasiGo has more than enough games to keep any level of player, from casual to high-roller, busy. Plus, you can even ‘favourite’ games, so you don’t have to search for them every time you visit the site.
Time to collect your winnings? Here’s what you need to know
How to withdraw
Go to your account page (click the menu link in the top right corner next to where you can log in). You’ll see ‘Withdraw’ on the left. Click on it, then enter your account password, withdrawal amount, method (e.g. Visa), and payment details (e.g. bank account info or e-wallet email address). Click ‘Submit’, and you’re all set.
Other rules and information players need to know
You can’t make a withdrawal if you have an “active bonus balance or any free rounds” remaining in your account. New players also have a default maximum limit of $5,000 for a short while.
Where to find this information
The ‘Withdraw’ account page is pretty good for stating the most important rules, but I had to use live chat to get info on limits.
The CasiGo withdrawal Process is nice and simple
The process is straightforward and is similar to many other online gambling sites. The only annoyance is that CasiGO doesn’t put all its withdrawal info in one place.
3 out of 5. I knocked a point off because the New Zealander options are limited, and I chopped another point off because I had to rely on customer support to get full info on limits.

Help Center
The CasiGo support section is accessed via the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the site. There are email, live chat, and FAQ options here, but you can also launch live chat directly from the menu.
Other resources they offer
There’s a small FAQ section, info about the CasiGO staff, and a repeat of the welcome bonus terms.
Customer support is standard
The absence of a phone number is disappointing, as is the FAQ section being five questions and answers, rather than a range of topics (e.g. technical support, account help).
3 out of 5, since there’s no phone number and the FAQs are helpful but incredibly specific. I used live chat to get info on withdrawals, so special thanks to Serge who answered my query quickly and in a friendly manner.
Responsible gambling
I’m happy to report CasiGo covers responsible gambling with stringent player protection features, and a link to the official Gambling Therapy site. Both of these can be accessed via the bottom of each page.
CasiGO protect players
CasiGO has a range of options available to let you set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits. You can also have a time-out or exercise self-exclusion if you think it might help.
5 out of 5. CasiGO offers a bunch of useful features and a link to an accredited organisation is a definite plus.
Awards and Recognitions
The company behind the site, White Hat Gaming, does have a silver donor Bet Blocker award for a load of its sites. This award shows that the company takes responsible gambling seriously and isn’t afraid to enforce restrictions.
Conclusion
I’d rate CasiGO 4 out of 5 overall. It’s relatively limited customer support options and lack of banking options and information keeps it from getting full marks.
However, it still has a lot to offer players of all levels, and the accessibility of its promotional terms, privacy statement, and general conditions help give CasiGO a solid reputation and recommendation.
