Pragmatic Play’s Jackpot Play feature launched

One of New Zealand’s top providers of casino games, Pragmatic Play, has announced that it launched a new product known as Jackpot Play.

According to a statement by Pragmatic Play, this feature’s main aim is to “boost player acquisition and engagement with substantial cash prizes”.

This feature works by having the jackpot drop randomly during a game, a jackpot that appears in a mini game playable on a 4×3 grid.

To find out how much a player won with this feature, they will have to choose from a collection of gems.

While Jackpot Play is already available to use in games such as Big Bass Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush, Sweet Bonanza, and The Dog House, this feature will be rolled out in other games later on this year.

There are four jackpots to this feature – known in order of size as the Minor, Major, Mega, and Grand, with each jackpot having different starting cash amounts (jackpot seeds), as well as the win probability.

Pragmatic Play’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Irina Cornides expressed her delight at announcing this new feature to Pragmatic play’s growing portfolio of jackpot products.

The Jackpot Play announcement follows the launch of the Power jackpot product in late 2022, Cornides explained.

Pragmatic Play’s COO added that Jackpot Play will allow operators to come up with eye-catching progressive pokies for players to enjoy.

In her comments, Cornides also noted that Jackpot Play is available “across an ever-expanding selection of premium Pragmatic Play pokies”.

Pragmatic’s other expansion projects

The month of June has been a particularly busy one for this provider.

Last week, together with gaming company Interwetten, Pragmatic Play launched a customisable Roulette table which allows for greater gaming environment personalisation.

According to Pragmatic Play, this Roulette table will ensure a gaming experience that is both smooth and seamless for all its players.
