Casino game provider Light & Wonder has announced that Niaz Nejad will join the company as its Managing Director for the Americas division.
Nejad’s new role will involve her providing insights into the stages of game development, making decisions regarding project environment and support the integration of Light & Wonder’s cross-platform.
Nejad, who is expected to join Light & Wonder later on this year, has over 25 years of experience.
She most recently occupied the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing for Aristocrat Gaming.
In comments following the announcement, Light & Wonder’s CEO of Gaming Siobhan Lane, said that she worked with Nejad for many years.
Lane added that she knows that Nejad’s “values, industry and business experience”, along with her “people-centric leadership approach”, are the perfect attributes for leading Light & Wonder’s team.
Light & Wonder’s CEO of Gaming concluded that Nejad is the ideal person to strategically lead the provider in the right direction of helping it grow in the American and global markets.
