Wilds

The wild symbol is two crossed shotguns, with WILD written across them. A wild substitutes for other paying symbols where it can help create a winning payline.

Respins

To trigger the re-spins you need to land three bonus symbols which are safes. Initially, you only have three free spins, but the counter resets every time a special symbol lands. This unique mechanic is known as Hold and Win and we’ll discuss this more down below.

Multiplier 

The free spins round is full of multipliers. In fact, every special symbol that lands (besides the tumbleweed) adds to your multiplier total. You can check your current multiplier level to the right of the reels.

Hold and win

The Hold and Win feature was brought to the forefront in Money Train. Here, the bonus round is called the Money Cart Bonus. During this part of the game, there aren’t any paylines, winning combinations or anything like that. Instead, your goal is to get that multiplier total as high as possible. 

You only start with three spins, but it resets with every special symbol (the tumbleweed doesn’t do anything). You can see on the safe there is a certain multiplier. However, there are five other symbols with specialised functions:

• Payer – The payer adds to the multiplier of each other symbol;
• Collector – The collector takes the multiplier value of all other symbols on the reels and adds it to your total;
•  Widener – The widener adds an extra row to the reels with a stick of dynamite, then it becomes a multiplier too;
• Persistent Payer – The Persistent Payer adds to the value of all symbols on the reels and all other symbols that will later appear;
• Persistent Collector – The Persistent Collector has the same function as the collector above, but it keeps collecting from all new symbols too.
