Light & Wonder and ReelPlay team up following distribution deal

Light & Wonder, a top casino game provider, has announced that it has partnered up with gaming content provider ReelPlay after securing a new distribution agreement.

Following this agreement, Light & Wonder will be delivering its games to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).

According to iGaming news website iGamingFuture, since the agreement will help Light & Wonder extend its reach, this marks a “significant expansion” for the provider.

In his comments following the announcement, Light & Wonder’s Digital Partnerships Director, Steve Mayes, said that after having worked so closely with ReelPlay, Light & Wonder expects a successful games distribution.

Mayes added that Light & Wonder looks forward to releasing more ReelPlay games on their network.

Meanwhile, David Johnson, CEO at ReelPlay commented that as a company, ReelPlay is proud to market “with innovative and inspirational concepts”.

Johnson added that ReelPlay is very excited to see Hypernova Megaways (one of the top performing pokie games across the regulated North American markets) make it to another regulated market thanks to this deal.

As a provider, Light & Wonder has been diversifying and expanding in the Americas.

Earlier this year, the provider announced that Niaz Nejad will join the company as its Managing Director for the Americas division.

Her new role will involve making decisions related to project environment, as well as providing insights into the stages of game development.

Nejad will also be supporting Light & Wonder’s cross-platform integration.
